The Untold Story of Shravan Kumar. curse and boon series story from Ramayan.
Shravan Kumar lived with his blind parents in a small hut, dedicating his life to serving them day and night, forsaking all worldly pleasures and distractions. Chitra, a young woman, loved Shravan Kumar, but she was disheartened by his unwavering commitment to his parents. One day, Chitra's celestial father, a Yaksha named Kandarpa, learned about his daughter's melancholy.
To test Shravan Kumar's devotion, Kandarpa devised a plan. He transformed himself into a monstrous serpent and swallowed Shravan Kumar's parents in front of the villagers, creating a spectacle that terrified everyone. Meanwhile, in the forest, an actual serpent transformed into Chitra and observed Shravan Kumar's actions.
Every day, Shravan Kumar massaged the serpent's body with oil, attending to its needs, not realizing it was an imposter. Perplexed, the serpent-turned-Chitra asked why he served so diligently. Shravan Kumar explained that he believed his parents were inside the serpent, and by serving it, he served them. This revelation puzzled the Yaksha.
One day, the transformed serpent began to feel the effects of the intense heat generated by the friction of Shravan Kumar's massages. Unable to bear the heat, the serpent's body caught fire, causing great distress. It was then that Narada, the celestial sage, appeared and revealed the truth to the Yaksha.
Realizing his mistake, the Yaksha appeared before Shravan Kumar, apologized, and restored his parents to life. However, the consequences of the Yaksha's actions lingered. Shravan Kumar's parents, grateful for his devotion, blessed him. Yet, they also cursed King Dasharatha, foreseeing his future grief and suffering.
Following this incident, Shravan Kumar embarked on a pilgrimage with his parents. However, when they faced thirst in the forest, Shravan Kumar went to fetch water. At that moment, King Dasharatha, unaware of Shravan Kumar's identity, mistook him for an animal and accidentally shot him with an arrow, leading to his untimely death.
This tragic event played a significant role in the unfolding of future events. The curse inflicted sorrow upon King Dasharatha, eventually influencing the circumstances that led to Lord Rama's exile and the subsequent abduction of Sita by Ravana. The interconnectedness of these events highlights the intricate web woven by fate.
In this way, the curse received by King Dasharatha, intertwined with the tale of Shravan Kumar, became a pivotal force in overcoming the rising injustice, ultimately fulfilled by Lord Rama.

HINDI STORY
Usne khud ko ek bhayanak nag mein parivartit kiya aur Shravan Kumar ke mata-pita ko gaon ke logon ke saamne nigal liya, jise sab log dekh kar vyakul ho gaye.
Shravan Kumar ne bataya ki us maan lena chahta hai ki uske mata-pita nag ke andar hain, aur uski seva karke vah unki seva kar raha hai. Ye bayaan yaksha ko uljhan mein daal gaya.
Ek din, parivartit nag ka sharir tapne laga aur uske andar garmi badhne lagi. Phir uski deh mein aag lag gayi, use bahut takleef hui. Vo pareshan ho gaya. Us samay Narada, akashvani maharshi, aakar Yaksha ke samaksh prakat hua aur sachchai batai. Us samay Yaksha ne apne galati ka ehsaas kiya.
Apni galti samajh kar Yaksha Shravan Kumar ke samaksh aaya, maafi maangi aur unke mata-pita ko punah jivit kar diya. Lekin, Yaksha ke karyon ke parinaam ab tak bane rahe. Shravan Kumar ke mata-pita, unke bhakti ke liye abhari, unhe ashirwad dete hain. Lekin, unhone bhi Raja Dasharatha ko unki andhvishwas bhari zindagi ki anumaan laga kar shraap diya.
Is ghatna ke baad, Shravan Kumar apne mata-pita ke saath teerthayatra par nikla. Lekin jab unhe van mein pyaas lagi, to Shravan Kumar ne paani lane ke liye ek nadi ke kinare chale gaye. Tabhi, Ayodhya ke raja Dasharatha, Shravan Kumar ki pehchan nahi kar paaye, use ek jeev hirni samajh kar galti se teer maar diya, jisse uski anayakal mrityu ho gayi.
Is dukhad ghatna ne bhavishya ke ghatit hone mein mahatva purna bhumika nibhayi. Shraap ne Dasharatha ko dukh aur kasht diya, ant mein Ramji ke vanvaas aur fir Sita ka haran jaise ghatnayen hone ka marga banaya. Is ghatnaon ka sanbandh dikhata hai ki bhavishya ke ulat palat mein kaise saare ghatnayen ek dusre se judi hui hain.
Is prakar, Dasharatha ko prapt shraap, Shravan Kumar ki kahani se jud kar, aise anayakal ke adharm ko parajit karne mein ek mahatva purna bhaag ban gaya, jo Shri Ramji ke dvara poorn kiya gaya.
