King Virmasen of Viramgarh had implemented a law in his kingdom that upon reaching the age of seventy, every elderly parent should be left in the jungle by their family. Those who didn't comply with this directive would face the penalty of death. Following the king's orders, a young boy was on his way to leave his elderly mother in the jungle. Carrying his mother on his shoulders, he was walking through the forest when he noticed his mother breaking dry twigs and placing them on the ground. Surprised, the boy asked, 'Mother! Why are you doing this?' The mother lovingly replied, 'So that when you return from the dense jungle, you don't lose your way and can easily find your way back home. That's why I am doing this.' The boy was deeply moved by this explanation. Despite the king's orders, he changed his mind and brought his mother back home, ignoring the king's punishment.
To keep this action hidden from the rest of the village, the boy dug a pit in the ground and made a cave to conceal his mother. Now, every day, the son would go to the cave, serve his mother, provide her with meals, and fulfill all her needs.
During this time, unexpectedly, the king of another kingdom, Akroor Sen, attacked Viramgarh, capturing King Virma Sen. However, before the invading king could make the people of Viramgarh his prisoners, Akroor Sen proposed a deal. He stated that if someone could answer his two peculiar questions correctly, he would spare the people of Viramgarh and release their king. The invading king presented the question: 'Fill a pot with pumpkin in a skull.' Unable to understand the questions, the villagers were perplexed. The young boy, curious, went to the cave to seek advice from his mother, who explained, 'Fill the pot with water and plant pumpkin seeds in it.' Following her advice, the boy did just that, and soon, the pumpkin grew in the pot. Seeing this, King Virma Sen was greatly pleased.
For the second question, Akroor Sen brought two cows and asked, 'Tell me which one is the mother and which one is the daughter?' Both cows were hungry. The boy again consulted his mother in the cave, who advised, 'Feed them grass together - the one that lets the other eat first is the mother.' The boy followed the advice, and it became evident which cow was the mother and which one was the daughter. Once again, King Virma Sen was highly impressed. He asked the boy, 'How did you figure this out?' The boy replied, 'If you grant me immunity, I will reveal the secret.' The king agreed to grant him immunity, and the boy explained, 'I chose to make a cave for my mother instead of leaving her in the jungle as per the king's order. It was through her guidance that I solved these two challenges.' Upon hearing this, the king felt deep remorse and realized the importance of the elderly. He immediately changed his law and ordered that no one should abandon their elderly parents in the jungle. Instead, they should take care of them in every possible way.
Thus, the kingdom was saved from the experience of an elderly person, and all the people became content. The experience of the elderly is valuable for families, societies, and nations. They are not a burden but rather a guiding force that can help navigate our life's challenges smoothly."

Ek bhayanak musibat mein jab raja ne sikhi sabse badi sabak
Viramgarh ke raja, Virmasen ne apne rajya mein yeh qanoon lagu kar rakha tha ki saattees varsh ki umar puri hone par har buzurg mata-pita ko jungle mein chhod diya jaye. Jo parivaar aisa nahi karega, use maut ka dand diya jayega. Raja ke aadesh ke baad, ek ladka apni buzurg maa ko jungle mein chhodne ja raha tha. Usne apne kandhe par apni maa ko bithakar jhaadon ke beech se hokar jungle mein chal raha tha. Lekin is beech, maa jhaadon se sookhi lakdi tod-todkar zameen mein daal rahi thi. Ladka is vyavhaar se bahut prabhavit hua. Raja ke aadesh ke bawajood, usne apna man badal liya aur maa ko ghar lekar aaya, raja ke dand ko nazarandaz karte hue.
Gaaon ke doosre logon ko isse pata na chale isliye usne zameen mein ek gadha khod kar gufa banakar usmein maa ko chhupa diya. Ab beta pratidin gufe mein jakar maa ki seva karta, unhein bhojan dilata, aur maa ke sab zarurat ko pura karta raha.
Is beech, ek din akasmat, doosre rajya ke raja, Akroor Sen ne Viramgarh par akraman kiya, wahan ke raja Virmasen ko bandi bana liya. Isko dekhkar raja Virmasen bahut khush hua.
Doosre sawaal ke liye, Akroor Sen ne do gaayein laayi aur poocha, 'Batao inmein kaun maa hai aur kaun beti hai?' Dono gaayein bhookhi thi. Ladka phir maa se salaah lekar gufe mein gaya, jahan maa ne salah di, 'In dono ko saath mein ghaas dal do - jo pehle doosre ko khaane degi, woh maa hai.' Ladka ne is salah ko follow kiya, aur saaf ho gaya kaunsi gaay maa hai aur kaunsi beti.
Is tarah rajya buzurg vyakti ke anubhav se bach gaya aur log khush ho gaye. Buzurgon ka anubhav parivaar, samaj, aur rashtra ke liye mahatva purna hota hai. Ve hamare liye bojh nahi, balki hamaare jeevan ke sankaton ko sukhad se paar laga sakte hain."
